The Yoga Sutras, or Patajali's Yoga Sutras, are a collection 196 Sanskrit texts. The texts were compiled by Patanjali in the early centuries of CE. He synthesised the wisdom and traditions about yoga. These sutras were originally a work in progress. They are now one of the most important resources for practicing yoga worldwide.
